T ROWE FIRM ADDS LARGE: THEY NOW OWN 15.2% OF KKD

    BIG News for KKD longs!

On Friday after the close, T Rowe Price filed their 13G reflecting that as of Friday night they have increased their position by 2,467,000 shares since the 13F. They now control 15.2% of outstanding shares, a fabulous vote of confidence in this new domestic and international growth story.

Wells Fargo's Stagecoach Funds filed an early 13f too. They began a serious position last Q (410,000 shares) but have now upped their position to 2,217,000 shares (3.4% of outstanding shares), an increase of 1,807,000 shares during the shakeout drop.

Management has already telegraphed that they will share more thoroughly prepared guidance for 2014 on the Dec earnings call, due out in a couple weeks from now. We are not alone in paying attention to the tea leaves... KKD should be able to share better SS comps on Company owned stores, likely a far more ambitious new store opening queue as plans for 2014 have been firmed up another 3 months, a good update on the coffee initiatives (including early returns on the WMT distribution announced last week), and what they plan for the hinted price increase for later in 2014.

The upshot is that they have set up for a serious "beat and raise" for the Dec Q and 2014 guidance, respectively.

Shorts should begin queueing up at the short bus stop for their self hurl under the parade of short busses coming for them... T Rowe is driving the first bus beginning Monday! LOL
