    Shorting Thinly Traded Stock

It is very dangerous to short a thinly traded stock because it does not take a lot of buying to move the stock higher. ( MY OPINION )

    • True, but this stock is only going to be thinly
traded until October. This stock has been trading
hundreds of thousands of shares per day in the mean time.
It is not nearly as thinly traded as some others.
The trade info I have is that small buyers have been
the ones bidding up the price. Although they have
been very good at bidding it up the last few days,
this pace is not sustainable. This stock is trading so
high that I doubt any big money whould risk several
million dollars in capital to try to bid it up higher to
force the shorts to cash out at even higher prices.
