Good Luck with BURKLE!!! Look up SORC...

SORC doesn't have anything to do with BKS, so pipe down. Just be happy about your short you made a fortune on lol. I'm long here because revenues are doing well and the loss was in-the-end substantially lower than estimates even though it was from tax reserves. BKS is making big headway on the digital sales and the brick and mortar will recover with the economy. Come this fall and Christmas we'll see the positive side of the cyclical business.

    • SORC doesn't have anything to do with BKS???? Are you serious?? THey still supply them don't they? And they may not be the same business, but the sell the same thing, so if SORC's revenues are down 15%+, then BKS will be down by the same, is my guess.

You people need to understand, BKS is the Blockbuster of the book world and soon books will be extinct, just like CD's/DVD's/VHS.

If you can answer this question in a positive manner, I will cover my short tomorrow morning.

Here it is: Why would a consumer go to the mall, stand in line, waste gas to get there, to buy a book for $20, when they can get the same book for half and have it in the hands in minutes?

      Look forward to your answer....

P.S.---Did you know the return rate on books is near 50%, mags the return rate is near 70%? Did you know the return rate on an electronic book is near zero? How much do you think it costs to ship/return/merchandise books? Do you how much the rent is on a mall store? You realize we are in an electronic, have-it-now society?

PLEASE, buy more BKS!!! It will just fall harder next Q!
