    The slight pop

I don't know about pre-paid debit cards........ how they work for the vendor at the point of sale and when they are reloaded....

I don't know if the vendor receives cash like in the old days for money orders or what or if a machine is used like an A T M to load it.......

Our chain sold money orders for cheap because it created a large cash float that drew interest for us.

All I know is that I have received no news for BKS all day. I do however find news that fits the time of the pop in BKS stock price. It concerns AXP and pre-loaded debit cards on college campus' bbeing sold through BKS stores on campus.

    • The AXP deal is a good example of value that BN creates from relationships they have with students (about 25% of the US College population). The market and a lot of analysts seem to be underestimating the value of those consumer relationships and the long term deals with universities as BN gains solid share there, but Microsoft seems to understand the value of the college business.
