    my two cents

I do not own shares but overall if I had to bet (long or short) I would buy. Because as a contrarian I have no choice. Books are passe and so since the consensus is many times wrong it is probably a good bet. Lethargic action is also a plus because people are 'sick' of waiting and dumping it.

.MSFT I do have because of the stready public liquidation.

I am writing because I just got the NOOK HD on Ebay. Wow!!!!! The Nook was good too but I just had to move up. I am not a gadget guy at all - only bought an HD tv (32 inch store brand) two yrs ago. Have no computer. But its amazing. They are losing money on me since I have no intention of buying anything from them Oops - maybe this is a bad omen if others are like me.

    • how can you own any tablet without buying digital products and services. Isnt that what they are good for? buying playing games, buying renting movies, buying ebooks, newspaper/magazine subscriptions etc.

      • Buying movies? Why? What can the popular culture do for me? Spiderman? Die Hard? Double 007? Please.... Games? My reflexes suck.
I read the WSJ and NY Post. That's good enough.

I use it to browse the internet. Ebay, Youtube, Facebook, Amazon. Amazon is where you buy books. Ebay for everything else ($156 for a new still wrapped in cellophane boxed Nook HD!). Can't get enough of landing and takeoff videos on Youtube.
