I went to a presentation today by a Richard Golod of Invesco. He is a strategy guy with access to 400 analysts and some proprietary analytical tools.
He did not specifically mention GVA. His talk focus was on identifying macro trends that affect big money decision makers - who subsequently affect the market. He mentioned that we never had a recovery without a housing recovery - ie. why Greenspan always opened the floodgates to prop housing and caused a bubble.
He said the FEDS cannot stimulate jobs and growth through housing anymore due to the huge current surplus. Guess what he said will be targeted more and more? - the macro big money will look at - BUILDING INFRASTRUCTURE.
I saw it as a backdoor endorsement of companies like GVA for the next 3-5 years.
