Now selling HIV 1/2 product in US, expecting to take market share (had only HIV-1 previously) and grow 20%. CEMI really needs to get DPP HIV on the market soon. Maybe Larry didn't want to stick around for lean times in 2014 and 2015.
Hopefully not get poor fast (or slow) stock. CEMI must be hoarding lots of news, good or bad I don't know. We've heard bupkis since the week of doom back in early August.
Is there anything positive related to CLIA, PMA submission for HIV/Syph, new products or markets related to Labtest, big new int'l contracts, distribution plans in US, govt research contract follow-on (ie, flu rapid test or multiplex for military), new Vet OEM deals, or something out of left field.
Was DS let go? Is he leaving due to exhaustion and a bleak future? Or, is his departure a sign of confidence in SK?
TRIB comment by Sono is about Trinity Biotech who distributes through Thermo Fisher. They are important for customers who don't need an oral test. Not sure what Sono is smoking.
I wouldn't discount a sale of the company post CLIA waiver. Larry's departure was forecasted an entire year ago with a 6 month severance. So far, I haven't heard much fanfare about a replacement.
