Here's the problem in a nutshell: Business banking looks good on these non-interest accounts, which have unlimited FDIC insurance ... for now. But how long are people going to deposit money with no interest? HBKS has some really wealthy customers, but it doesn't do us any good if they can only deposit $250,000 in the bank. So where's the growth in that? A bank has to have some connection to a brokerage operation, where they give you unlimited insurance with interest on your money - one of the many things HBKS doesn't have.
