    • As with any business, capitalization is a major requirement and the lack of it is a major limitation. I believe that these requirements have always been a limitation for Viaspace and have restricted its success. GKG has the potential to create that for Viaspace, but it has to come in stages, starting with animal feed. As capital builds up, they can then go after biofueling projects and biochemical projects, both of which require more capital to develop. Once sufficient capital is available, they may finally have what it takes to go after their original mission with NASA and CalTech, which was to commercialize military and aerospace technology.

Although many were critical of Carl, at the time, when he got involved with Chang, I believe that raising capital was the objective of the joint venture, using the framed art business as the cash cow, followed by GKG projects. Unfortunately, Chang created a setback when he forced the separation of VGREF from VSPC. But, Carl was still able to keep it going and, with the involvement and guidance of Dr. Shewe, the company is likely to survive. I believe that the longs that have held on, and bought shares when the PPS was greatly depressed, will finally get rewarded.

      Sentiment: Buy
