Hi there, I'm new to the board but not to PBR. I have in general been quite optimistic about them, although they didn't perform very well this year (bought at 45 and 50 last year ...).
I was expecting that a price such as $8.51 per barrel, for extracting oil from the new oil fields owned by Brasil in deep waters, would drive the stock significantly down, but the stock didn't seem to really react: volume is normal and the stock moves up along with the market and the other oil companies, or even a little bit better.
What are your thoughs / educated guesses regarding how this stock will evolve in the near future ?
You're right, there are a lot of elements of answer that have been posted already, but I'd think we are now at a turning point. Now we know what the Brazilian govnmt is charging PBR for the oil. That might change some points of view, reason why i am asking.
