    • I'm on vacation down in SA, but still found time to buy the open on Toyota both yesterday and today....already sold for for nice coin.
Looks like some nice trading opportunities happening if you have some cash.

    • I think that was smart, Arwen. All the commodities (except Natural gas LOL.) are down today.

Given the huge and I think undeserved drop we have seen in uranium and nuclear power names, I think there will soon be a heckuva chance to buy. CCJ and EXC are at the top of my list. The world gets too much of its energy from nuclear power, and I don't think that is going to change. Every source of energy generation has its problems.

It would be completely different if we had a Chernobyl like event or Three Mile Island where there were design flaws. But when nuclear plants get hit with a 9.0 earthquake, I don't think there is going to be a huge rush to look at alternate energy sources.

      • The problem with CCj is in production, they don't mine enough the yellow cakes. Chindia had committed to buy every pounds from CCj could extract from planet earth for 25 years.

      • I disagree.

Nuke power will continue to be used in China and a few other markets but valuations (here) in nuke related stocks are a function of our market perceptions.

And with ongoing media coverage of the fallout in Japan, nuke related investment here is DOA.

Not saying it's right because I think its stupid but that's just the way it is IMO.

        GL catching that knife.

      • Doc , i have been looking at ccj getting hammered , i agree with your points but many people get very stubborn with nuclear . I agree with you(don't forget i'm french and have a strong nuclear culture as far as energy is concerned) but do i have the courage to put my $$ with these thoughts, don't know yet .THis is exactly like BP , i knew i had to buy but didn't !!! the purchases i made at the time also turned out nice, get my point.
To conclude , i am waiting now for some further declines in overall market, then back to my big divy/call/wait stategy.
and maybe if you push me ccj..
