Interesting homework. I own GOOG at a cost basis of 460. It's sitting around.....hell some stocks sit around for a long time. AAPL kind of sat around from Oct 2010 to Oct 2011.
My thoughts: Brin and Page want to shake out the little investors so they confused them a bit with this divy/split deal. I'm glad they did it.
Well.... Apple has been outperforming GOOG for weeks now.
But could GOOG gain back some ground with this tablet ?
I might purchase one, cuz I'm a droid.
Oh, the horror, the pain!
AAPL is certainly under distribution. I can only speculate as to why. When the time comes, THEY will be lining up to buy again. A decent buying opportunity is being created right now.
Forecast unch. AAPL gets to $1000 first. That is my story and I am sticking to it.
This was the move I was expecting from QCOR afternoon yesterday. You just can't predict what happens on Wall St.
A bitter sweet day for me today. Up nicely on WYNN VMW LNG & CTXS is off the charts... I had to take some profits today on that one.
On the down side, CELG missed and is getting punished. I just don't have the stomach for biotech anymore. LVS is inflicting some pain also. Nice quarter, but they are likely going to dilute in order to make some $7B investment for a new casino in Spain... hmmmm. This CEO just loves to leverage other peoples money. A gambler if you will.
Anyway, I was a lucky idiot with QCOR. I placed a stop under it yesterday at $41.4, and was lucky enough to pick it back up this morning for $40.60.
QCOR making the difference for me today in my account.... thanks again.
Yeah, shoulda listened to me and Doc... and RG -- who saved a lotta money when he converted.
I recall a bunch of pumpers showing up a couple months back... dont hear much from them now.
I think a good chance the share price will close up a buck.
OK... back to AAPL/GOOG chart... what a difference a day makes.... lol
No problem RG. I hope it works out. The fundamentals are sure strong on it.
I don't usually cite Cramer but he said that QCOR has produced the highest return since the inception of Mad Money. A 7 year period and it is up something like 7000%!
