Open mic capture the press coordinating questions to ask Romney
Notice (for those who aren't totally dense) that the question itself implies something was wrong with Romney's statement. They aren't really asking a question at all but making it sound like a question.
For the record, here is Romney’s statement:
"I’m outraged by the attacks on American diplomatic missions in Libya and Egypt and by the death of an American consulate worker in Benghazi. It’s disgraceful that the Obama Administration’s first response was not to condemn attacks on our diplomatic missions, but to sympathize with those who waged the attacks."
Romney was totally misinformed, of course, but there is simply no excuse for a political candidate to try to make political "hay" from the deaths of brave American servants. In an international crisis, we don't need a shoot-from-the-hip politician complicating American efforts. Most politicians know this.
