Playing technicals for a 10% gain on PBR sounds a lot like gambling. Why buy Brazil when you can buy Vietnam?
Refining and nitrogen ferts are good businesses to be in now due to low energy prices. I made 20%+ in 2 or 3 weeks on refiner HFC. Rolled into TSO which was just upgraded. UAN looks ok, nothing extraordinary. CVRR is a new LP and probably subject to underwriters overhang, It´s come in a bit after a soaring IPO, so could be interesting. Unless you are a gambler, why not wait til things stabilize, or buy Nitrogen Ferts TNH or RNF --- good charts, high yields...
Financials look interesting. I bot AIG... Insurance is a good business, they have excellent operations in asia, 38% earnings growth, high roe and a PE of 2.7! The chart looks great. Some brokerage called it a generational buying opportunity... Maybe, but in any case looks good NOW.
Possibly. but with only a 12% return(16ish to 18ish) I would rather look elsewhere. Something with strong fundamentals, high roi, revs but selling at a discount but with more upside potential. PBR is just a junk stock imho. Too much risk, too little reward.
