I'm new to the post having recently purchased the stock and for weeks nothing I've read on this post was very exciting until I starting reading something about a labor strike. If someone can fill me in on whats been ocurring with MWL, I would really appreciate it. I've been following MWL stock action for about 6 months and bought some stock when they announced the stock split. But the stock has been a dead fish recently and with all the talk of a strike, is this just a cloud over the stock? With all the recent purchases and heavy debt plus usually after a stock split there is usually some sideward action and base building.Where do you see this stock in 3 months????? MWL 3rd quarter is the best for earning growth so lets all enjoy the next leg towards 30!!!!!!!!!! compared to the CELL post ,this is a very quite one except when union and company boys square off.
Not to fear. A very small percentage of the workforce is union. It only effects a small percentage of the total billings and actually only one plant at this time. The Graphic Arts Center Portland facility. Less than 3% of total sales.
Doesn't sound like a very strong position from which to negotiate. What real demands can be made that will be of any real significance to the top brass with such a small segment of the business being affected?
