This is pretty sad. All over the place, I am reading reports with headlines such as "Celebrex Doubles Heart Attack Risk". Then, buried towards the end of the article, they may mention that it was at doses of up to 800mg. Not all of the articles go on to say that these tests were done using TWO to FOUR times the normal dosage. Increased risk of heart attack was not found in any tests that used the normal dosage. So, the only way that people are going to have heart attacks here is if they are stupid and take twice as many of the pills each day as their Dr. told them to. I guess there could be folks like that. They might reason that "Hey, if I have a headache and the aspirin bottle tells me to take 2, then I'll feel twice as good if I take 4!" Some folks aren't too smart. Those are the same sort of folks who panick at the first hint of trouble.
