I just started taking Lipitor and Plavix after having stent surgery two weeks ago.
To my surprise, I paid $70 for 30 Lipitor tablets at QFC, or $2.33 per pill. I can get the same Lipitor from Canada for $1.55 per pill.
For Plavix, I paid $355 for 90 tablets. or $3.94 per pill versus $2.68 per pill from Canada.
Also, the prices here in town vary from $355 to $480 depending on which drugstores you visit.
What is going on in this country? This is not right.
"See that. It's a goddam $6000 garden hose." Reckon that's about a $20,000 garden hose today.
"It's no big deal"
"could create tens of thousands
of unemployed people and blame it on Bush."
Not to worry. The economy is creating hundreds of thousands of jobs a month...course they're all flipping burgers.
Arthroscopic knee surgery requires a constant flow of water into the joint.
The surgeon walking past the machine picks up the water line and says to me, "See that. It's a goddam $6000 garden hose." Reckon that's about a $20,000 garden hose today.
<<Instead of paying high prices for drugs you could pay more taxes keeping all those X-PFE workers on unemployment. >.
There's a big shortage of grape pickers out west. Free markets have a beautiful way of reallocating labor!
