No, I am not in favor of breaking the laws. Obviously we have some shortcomings in the law that need to be addressed. Strange as it may seem, it appears that starving a woman to death when her parents are begging the state not to, is legal. You dont feel uneasy about what is taking place? If we had a document signed by Terri then I would say fine. We dont. We only have the word of he (ex?) husband and the courts ruling that that is good enough for them. There are a lot of people who were very close to Terri who have grave doubts that these were her wishes. Mix it all together and you have a sad tragedy. We need to follow the law and then we need to use this gross situation as a spur to changing the laws.
