that the US has lost the war in Iraq utterly and completely. All the talk now is about how and when to "get out"---not about winning. Of course bushydunce does occasionally say "win" but he is so out of it and not in charge his comments are simply laughable. Jut like Vietnam. Nixon gave up and started getting US troops out under cover of negotiations with the North, and that way he avoided admitting complete disaster until at the end it all collapsed. In a war, when you haven't "won" you have lost. The US has lost in Iraq. Now the only question is how to disguise the defeat so that the warmongers won't be laughed out of office.
Damn, Lu... you never told us you were a black man!
Chapter 3, Moses: African Influence on Judaism.
In the introduction, Dr. Ben has warned that, "to say at this time that Moses of the Hebrew (Jewish) religion and peoples, was an indigenous African (Black or Negro), would create a catastrophic consternation among theological racists ... This would not stop them from saying that "Moses was found floating down the Nile River in a bulrush basket." Dr. Ben says many people conveniently forget that the Nile River's source begins in Uganda."
(That was a pretty good boat ride for an infant, I'd say.)
<<I can't wait to see your posts on Arab confiscations"
Which confiscations would those be?>>>
well for starters, we can stay with current events:
go back a few years ago to Kuwait,
then go ahead and google yourself "arab invasions"
actually, i somewhat go along with your post, and could actually add to it, but wouldn't want to give some, let's say misguided posters, more ammo.
Israel can't act alone, for peace----you know the old saying about "taking two.."--Also, some land is required for their defense--and I'm sure you know how they have had to defend themselves from those who don't just want the WB, but to see israel wiped out. We can discuss history, and really more important geopgrapghy, but i'd probably bore you, and we'd end up going in circles.
"Its ok, they're not Joooz!"
Sorry to disappoint you, but that isn't really my opinion. I do think there is a zionist element in israel that unreasonably wants to occupy territories that should not be occupied. This element has way too much influence in israel. All the occupation does is provide those extremist elements on the palestinian side with a reason to continue with violent opposition. I have nothing against jews, and feel that they should be allowed to live and worship as they feel.
"So how do you feel about Syria occupying Lebanon?"
They shouldn't have been occupying lebanon. They're gone now, but I think they still have too much influence in lebanon.
"Or, arabs invading and occupying the Sudan...and africa?"
Muslims have been in africa for a thousand years. AT this point, I don't think it's reasonable to expect them to leave.
<I am talking about the antidemocratic policy we supported in Iran with the shah>
Since WWII and until GWB, the US has been much less interested in 'democracy' than they have been in opposing communism. Hence our support of the Shah, Batista, Somoza and others.
