Too true. How Pfizer could have misjudged Exubera so badly is beyond me.
Pfizer is well known for marketing savvy, but the marketing research on this one missed the market by a wide margin.
To me this is the most perplexing of issues. Bad Luck, unexpected side effects all go with drug stock and the business environment. Paying 2 billion for a turkey that you have time to evaluate is an inexcusable mistake plain and simple!
