Your "estimates" are always wrong.
Not that pro forma EPS matters at all, anyway. Other pharmas may be over valued now, but PFE is not undervalued.
When you subtract about two bucks for dividend deductions by Jan 2013, PFE's price would have to double to reach $29 in a little over two years.
Answer the question asked you by at least half a dozen posters now. If you're so sure that PFE is going to double between now & then, do you promise to leave this board forever when it fails to trade over $29 by Jan 20, 2013?
spinning top or shooting star?
Alan told his mama, hey, 'Mama, I'm goin' away.
I'm gonna hit the big time, gonna be a big star someday', Yeah.
Mama came to the door with a teardrop in her eye.
Alan said, 'Don't cry, mama, smile and wave good-bye'.
Straight Shooter lolol
My estimate for 2013 is $2.35 to $2.40 and so $29 would be about 12.35 times the low end of the range.
Pfizer's revenues in 2012 will be a few billion lower than this year but then it will start to rise after that. 2013 should only show a slight increase but there will be substantial increases starting in 2014 when the 2011/2012 loss of exclusivity will have pretty much already worked their way through the system.
Revenues aren't some kind of giant guessing game - net change is simply the difference between all of the positive factors less the negative factors (losses to patent expirations and occasionally impairments to products already on the market for safety reasons).
Invariably, when losses to patent expirations are high, revenue growth will be stunted or even negative. But conversely, when losses are low, there is little to keep revenues from surging ahead other than major product impairments.
So unless there are such impairments, I see little reason for "declining sales" post-Lipitor. You'll have to explain why you think that will happen as it just makes no sense.
PFE should be bought when chrttwelve either goes bankrupt or turns bearish
on Pfizer options. While you're waiting, you can watch a multi-aliased poster
