You're very funny...for a non Canadian I certainly know a lot about what goes on there...could it be that I am actually Canadian?! What a shock! Secondly, if I were a "troll" I wouldn't take my time posting a number of messages that contain many points (unlike your comment) regarding your country's current dilemma. I am a university business student with a family who has worked at a number of Fortune 500 companies over the past 30 years, therefore I do not enjoy when a compete stranger with little knowledge of my situation makes a completely ridiculous assumption. Do not assume that as a student I do not know my country's regulations however, as that would place you into a competition you have little chance of winning.
I also found it quite hilarious that you believe the US has the highest standard of living in the history of the earth...you should double check where places like Norway, Sweden, Switzerland and Canada fall on the map and then speak your drivel. By the way, the "American dream" was a concept that was much more prevalent in the 19th and 20th centuries and does not apply nearly as much now. Opportunities in places like China, Japan, India and "emerging markets" all over the eastern hemisphere offer much greater returns when people choose to uproot and risk everything to make a living. You may say that the reason you think the US still has this edge over the other countries mentioned above is because of the language barrier...to prove you wrong, china has more English speaking people than the entire population of both the US and Canada combined so it is easy to see why those opportunities would be considered a much better "life investment".
Everything I have written so far are opinions that derive out of facts...if you don't like them then don't listen, that is your choice...but the fact you feel compelled to judge myself and my country while holding your own in such high regard is both a disturbing outlook on the way you view yourselves as Americans and a terrible thing for any person to do to someone else.
