    WOW! AWESOME ROMNEY WOULD NOT TAX CAPITAL GAINS AND INVESTMENT INCOME

    carol: You think that people that actually work to earn a living should be paying income tax and you not having to work, earning income from dividends, interest, and capital gains should not pay income taxes? Who pays for the military, highways, research, intelligence, airport security, food safety, etc. that protects you? What a greedy, unappreciative person. You want all this free.

      Point out where I said that and we can talk about it. I have always felt that income is income and all of it sould be taxed the same if there is a tax on incomes. I also understand why capital gains are taxed at a lower rate. First, it is to encourage investment and secondly capital gains are an illusion during periods of inflation which has been constant during the time I have lived. Allow an adjustment for inflation in calculating gains and I am all for it. You make many erroneous assumptions. Why do you do that? Me greedy, ludicrous! To make a logical argument you need to use facts not false accusations about another peerson's character.
