"The fact that we are here today to debate raising America's debt limit is a sign of leadership failure. It is a sign that the US Government cannot pay its own bills. It is a sign that we now depend on ongoing financial assistance from foreign countries to finance our Government's reckless fiscal policies. Increasing America 's debt weakens us domestically and internationally. Leadership means that, "the buck stops here.' Instead, Washington is shifting the burden of bad choices today onto the backs of our children and grandchildren. America has a debt problem and a failure of leadership. Americans deserve better."
~ Senator Barack H. Obama, March 2006~
The bleeding in the Obama campaign is begining to look more like a hemorrage. Since outlier Gallup is not to be trusted let's look at historically most accurate Rasmussen. FL, 51/47 Romney, VA 50/47 Romney CO 50/46 Romney, Iowa tied and OH 49/48 Obama. Electoral projection 235 Romney, Obama 237. October hasn't been good for the community organizer.
Gallup must somehow have gotten control of the computers that gave us the Flash Crash. HIS bleeding continues. The Gallup Organization will be out of business in less than three weeks. Even Rasmussen has run for cover and is showing Obama ahead in almost all of the battleground states. It's absolutely audacious for Gallup to continue showing figures that are such outrageous outliers.
For what' it's worth, in the popular vote the Iowa Electronic Markets is showing the GOP with only 47.5% to 48.0% of the share of the two-way vote excluding the Libertarian candidate.
