Always one to assail others if they can't get the info right, could it be he was being supplemented with erroneous information from the following site? Or could it be that he was too busy traveling to his many villas he owns around the world to really follow the campaign closely? We would like to know.
Here it is:
It appears Mitt Romney's campaign got a little ahead of itself on election night, briefly launching a victory website before Barack Obama was declared the winner of the U.S. presidential race.
The site disappeared shortly after it was posted, but not before Teagan Goddard of the news blog Political Wire got screenshots.
The site referred to Romney as president-elect and featured details about his inauguration. It also featured a page where people could apply online to join his administration.
"I'm excited about our prospects as a nation. My priority is putting people back to work in America," the home page declared in a quote next to a picture of a smiling Romney with an American flag in the background.
