were you referring to the guy who wrote the article i just posted? the points you made about cash & dividend are correct, but those are things he also admitted. he also made other valid points but here are two points where i disagreed with him:
"Pfizer is overvalued, and the dividend yield of around 3.6% will not compensate for the poor prospects for capital appreciation because of the lack of growth potential. I believe investors should avoid buying Pfizer at this point in time."
with current returns, i think many people are happy just with that 3.6% dividend return and might want to buy just for that dividend.
Also he failed to mention the drugs they have coming which should keep the company a solid dividend producer for the next few years The stock price has more than compensated for the loss of Lipitor. I will take Cramer over Seeking Alpha anytime. Big difference in experience. Seeking Alpha is for amusement only.
