Yes, the Guru is always positively right with his predictions. For the past four years, I've been telling the readers here that this savvy investor is infallible when it comes to matters dealing with Pfizer. In this case, it's not only the rate of increase with his prognosis, but also the date. How more accurate can one be?

If the BOD is true to form we will see the dividend announcement next Monday. While the last three div raises were 8 cents each that would push the payout ratio to below 50%. That stat has only been the case twice in the last 10 years. I am thinking they give a 12 cent raise to $1.00 py. Actually if we were just working on 'norms' they could raise it to 1.08 but that is probably not in the cards. PFE to 30 by May.

Management is on record as saying that they are looking to be paying out 40% of their adjusted earnings as dividends. That would pretty much be consistent with a 96-cent annual payout. Beginning with the year 2001, PFE increased its annual dividend by exactly 8 cents a share in all years other than 2006-2009.

It was only 12:44 A.M. in Los Angeles when I posted the message. I generally don't get to bed until after 1 A.M. as that is when CNBC shows the first prices from Europe.;
