It has been documented here that the place is a cheap dump located in the highest crime rate area in Los Angeles county. The value would increase substantially if the lawn were cleaned up and watered occasionally. However, it would still be a cheap slab prefab dump located on a postage stamp sized lot. No basement, no central heat and the laundry room is a corner in the kitchen. Holding such a dump in a high priced area is nothing to blow about.
The picture of the house on Westlawn that was sold for 798K looks very much like my place. Many of the houses in the Kentwood area built in 1943 and 1944 were largely tract houses and there isn't that much difference between many of them. My house is a little more centrally located than the one on Westlawn and is probably worth a little more.
