Why is it called a "spin-off"? Usually when a company spins off a portion of their assets, it goes to
existing stockholders. Why don't they call it a "sell-off"? Essentially it is an IPO of a certain segment of their business.
I've been sitting on PFE for 10 years. They don't give shareholders anything.
They give a dividend to me and the share price is up about ten bucks in the past two years. What else do you want them to give to you?
