Yes - it got away from me on the upside and that is why I am now out of Pfizer and into BIDU. BIDU is a 25% to 30% grower and PFE is a 4% to 5% grower and yet PFE actually sells at a slightly higher multiple relative to consensus 2014 earnings. That is just absurd and being the value player that I am, it was time to make the switch. But not before being able to cash out of PFE for 796K and an even half-million dollars in profit to show for my 100-month involvement on an average daily cost of about 200K. Not a bad decade's work.
For the skeptics, know that on the new 300K BIDU investment, I'm currently up by 37.8K or 12.6% in just 12 sessions. In that stretch, the stock is up by 5.2% and the S & P has risen by 2.0%.
Nobody has the kind of returns that I have in non-crashing markets. NOBODY!
Actually, it was more than once. Not that it got away from anybody but it was said. How ya been? How do you like this market the past couple of months? Truly a beautiful thing. I am going to let it settle out before I do anything, I get nervous when it is this good.
i'm fine; thx. just been keeping MY bfm shut quite a bit lately, but PINOCCHIO gave me an opportunity to "goad" so i took it.
i've got no complaints about how the market has performed the last few months. pfe is just one of the better movers i'm holding altho the wife sold a few hundred to round off her holdings to an even 1000. she likes the dividend even at these prices.
