I tendered 100 shares of PFE.
In my Fidelity account today is 76 shares of PFE and 23 shares of ZTS worth about $2855 at the moment.
Had I kept my 100 shares of PFE they would be worth $2824 right now.
So when all the dust settled, I made a whopping $31 from this whole thing. Well, that was not worth the effort was it!???
Were you not charged a reorganization fee by Fidelity?
would you please recalculate or restate your move?
if you tendered the 100 shs. how could you still be holding 76 shs shares?
Apparently, the tender was over subsribed. So, you only got about 1/4 of your request...So I retained 76 shares of my PFE and was allowed to exchange just 23 shares for ZTS.
If I had thought I would get so few shares, I would have skipped the whole thing...
So, I just bought 24 shares of PFE to put me back to a 100 shares and I'll let the ZTS run for a while...
I'm essentially doing the same thing. I placed a buy limit order to replace my PFE shares lost in exchange for ZTS. If PFE doesn't trade down to 27 before ex date I'll just pay the market price....don't want to be shortchanged next divy.
