Thanks for answering. If I sign up for that site, is says it is free registration, doesn't that mean no charge to use all of the things on it????? And if that is so, how do the people who have that site gain anything????? I'm learning. Someone told me as long as you don't give your credit card # its a free site, is that true????????Thanks for the info if you answer.
how it works, I don't follow up on spam, the theory being that it isn't there for the benefit of the reader, so much as for the benefit of the writer. The sign up may be free, but what kind of come-ons you will encounter after that is anyone's guess. Some of these sites get advertising revenue from the number of subscribers they have, so it may not cost you anything (like Yahoo). Even if you don't have to give your credit card number, you may get all kinds of e.mails from them once they have your info. If you can put up with that then there may be some value in it. There is a message board at http://www.siliconinvestor.com/stocktalk/ which has a message board like this and it's free of spam because posters have to pay to post messages. You can read them without paying, but you have to pay to write. There are some smart people over there but remember it's still an investors opinion and therefore subject to bias. Good luck
