Safoni paid $66 a few days ago

This is an interesting play. ALNY is 50% from the high and Safoni paid $66 a share a few days ago. Should this be a good deal?

    • That's what really CONFUSED me. I was determined to sell it when it dropped to about $65 BUT knowing that SLY bought many shares at $66.... and we all thought that any price below $66 would be a steal.

We lost quite a lot (as of now) because of this kind of misleading "announcement".

Any one PLEASE tell me if the SLY purchase is real? Or just to cheat investors????

      Thanks for your kind comments.

      • I too am a little stunned, but I am stunned from the sidelines, thank goodness.

Two thots. One, SNY, or any large company, is never the lowest price buyers, and in the past, the timing of buys like this have been terrible. ie, read not a thing into that buy, as an indicator.

Two, the Nasdaq continues to get hit hard, and all risk is being squeezed out. There are many ridiculous valuations in the Cloud/SaaS space that still need to get cleared out. As that process plays out, money will come out of the Nas, and money will come out of the biotechs, and the biotechs most vulnerable are the ones with no product revenue.

Bottom line for me, ALNY, CLVS et al can still drop a lot. GL, but remember, it's just a click to sell, and a click to buy back.

      • ALNY is the leader in the field why would it trade by far worse then ISIS and its market cap is smaller to that of ISIS as well.
