I new you daytraders would find this stock eventually. Could someone with a little more time on their hands communicate to the new shareholders the immense value of these holdings. You will be hearing alot from Elron in the months/years ahead.
Thanks for the list of holdings. Based on this list, what should be the market cap for ELRNF? I did not manage to get info on many of those assets. Does ELRN currently trade at a discount to NAV or at a premium? I am long FORTY and loving it, and looks like this is a similar play.
It's been a long wait with this stock(long since Sept. '97) but it is now worth the wait. Also a surprise that the attention came from the security issue, rather than the employee monitoring software. However, we'll take the attention anyway we can get it.
I always felt that ELRNF was kind of an Israeli version of CMGI. If the street starts paying attention now, it sure would be exciting to get the kind of stock performance CMGI has enjoyed in the past few years.
I just proved to myself that patience sometimes does payoff in the stock market, even in the face of 40% paper losses for months on this stock. Now if only some of my other beaten down issues can show some life...
some of your dead money in ELRNF check out FORTY, a similar Israeli holding co. Do your DD, but be sure to check the low p/e and p/s and the dynamic chart, plus check the industry growth of the co's controlled. Lots of room to run, so make some $ back. ELRNF looks ready to run now, so maybe a little of both.
