Has anyone listened to calls and the gibberish that comes from the mouths of the KEYW CEO and CFO. Both must have smoked too much with Buffet. No direct answers at all- ducking everything. They have no idea of what is behind the numbers. Can’t track anything. “Not being coy about it?” They have no clue. If these guys worked in our government we should all be embarrassed. Little to no organic growth. These guys are betting on a software product that could do “$10M with some large customers and smaller with others” and they have never sold a software product in their lives. They have never built a commercial software product. They know nothing about product management, product marketing. They couldn’t find a marketing partner if it hit them. Project G is a joke. “We will never be finished with project G” No timelines for delivery- “right on pace to what we think” what the heck is that? Sensage was a subpar product. Project G will be late and not produce much revenue. Roll-ups don’t work. Project G will have competition from Software only company’s like Palo Alto and FireEye. These boys are shysters. Totally agree with your sentiment. As I did not listen to the earnings call, did they mention anything about the lawsuit against KEYW by ITT Exelis? KEYW has been sued to the tune of $40M+ in Federal court, so that should be interesting as well. And if you want an example of their product development skills, one only needs to take a look at their efforts at Essex with DWDM and Hyperfine. Both were abysmal failures. This company is circling the drain at this point.
Their 'connections' come from a few of the board members and their direct relationships with Len when he was in private law practice and he was the 'go to guy' for NSA seniors when they went through nasty divorce situations. Connections in this market mean nothing - performance and delivery are all that matter and KEYW is way short on both.
