    At Southwest, the customer comes last.....

    And you can't complain about it, Herb gave the company it's ethos and it continues to this day. They won't assign seats...reason, LAZINESS. They won't collect bag fees...reason, LAZINESS. Everything is just too-much-trouble. I'm surprised Southwest pilots don't fall asleep at the controls more often. Staying awake is just too-much-trouble.....

    • The reason for all of your complaints are summed up in one statement. The RESERVATION SYSTEM AT SWA IS ANTIQUATED. Do your checking. They can't charge for bags because the reservation system can't handle it. Mr. Kelly has known this for years and I am hoping when a new one comes on-line you will literally see a BILLION DOLLARS suddenly appear to the bottom line. Can you imagine how many bags this carrier has in the belly of all those 737's riding just for free?

      Roger, you certainly are a dope.

      Why don't you go fly DAL, AMR, UAL, LCC -- they'll be glad to charge you for your checked luggage ... LOL!
