For those who haven't had a colonoscopy- lotto I know that you're excluded, because it's a liesure activity for you- if John Hopkins can improve the markers for the EXAS test, it'll be a huge advancement. My guess is they can make the test about 70-80% effective within a year. If so, big money. If not, as I've said, EXAS is a spec stock. As with all spec stocks, most folks should only have 1-3% of their portfolio in it.
A 50% loss is still a 50% loss, no matter what amount it is. Most investors should only use mutual funds to invest in biotech stocks. They don't have to expertise or diversification to invest properly.
