He claims the pillcam is great and needs no bowel prep....
From the Given website;
Both colonoscopy and PillCam COLON procedures require bowel preparation, but the PillCam COLON procedure may require up to 3 cups more of bowel preparation solution than colonoscopy requires.
Patients who suffer from GI diseases and are considered high risk for capsule retention such as IBD have a higher risk of retention. (Retention requires surgery to remove the stuck camera)
*Highly accurate "and "high accuracy" mean over 50% likely to detect large polyps
The author responded in the comments of the bush article (Part V), acknowledging he missed the part on the prep for the camera..... Geez, I wonder how much more information has been inaccurate..... my guess.... LOTS!!!
oh, did he write #5? I know the pillcam. GE has one too. It misses a lot of flat lesions and can't diagnose obviously. Prep is identical to colonoscopy. DNA from the colon is what will detect pre-cancers. I am not sure what is hard to understand about that. I have bought a lot of calls on this down pressure. There is a snap back coming.
