what made this drop from 100+ to 50 ?
A stock split last August 16th cut the price in half
but for each share held before split you had 2 after split
so value of your holdings was not cut in half but actually
had a slight gain.
Price of one share on August 15th prior to split = $101.95
Price on August 16th after stock split was $51.12
but you then had two shares for each one and thus those two shares = $102.24
