Irani and the search committee must go, vote against them on your proxy! Irani is a hindrance to the company's success, his middle east contacts are a joke; the last good thing he did was 20 years ago

What are the names to vote against in the search committee. I didn't see the names when the announcement went out. I think Irani, the search committee and Chazen all have to go. Need complete management restructure. New people in the picture. I can't wait till the stock is up to 87.50, so that I can get out of it for good. I plan on going to the shareholder meeting, but I won't be there if the stock goes up to my sell price. Thank goodness if it does. I bought it too high back in September and failed to get out in February.

      Sentiment: Hold

    • How long have you been a shareholder? I'd bet not since 1990. Ray, despite his dicrentionary pay got OXY to where is should have been in Hammer days. You fools fail to realize what a dead hourse OXY was in the late 80's and early 90's. Ray took this company with14B in debt and no cash to very little debt and 2B in cash. Took it from a $25 stock to 110 pre split. However with that said, yes -perhaps change is needed and perhaps divesting it's Mid-east operations (given all the turmoil in that region has dragged down profits) is a supurb idea to get OXY over 110 gain, and focus strickly on domestic operations. I made a mint - thanks Ray
