Things may be little out of his league with jv's, private funding, land sales, Removing partners (brownstone) we did pick up 31,000 additional acres and 100% WI on 4 wells at koko from jv brownstone. Kennedy is more of what DEJ needs at this point he much more than general counsel. I am certainly not saying Devine is not good at what he does but he is general counsel. DEJ moving in different direction these days. Thanks for service Devine. Kennedy lets get it done!
You are right. Poor speculation on my part, especially since he was brought on in 2009 (perhaps in relation to some prior financing tranaction), new directors were added in December, the notice advises this resignation is part of a "reconfiguration" of the board for the June meeting, the fact we are even having a June meeting, and that the current working line is likely to be paid off in June. All signs point to a shift in financing structure -- perhaps JV or other significant corporate transaction, but pure speculation at this point.
