I loaded up on DEJ shares around 20 cents a while ago just to add to my position at a higher price. Now my concern is that the stock is being pumped by "analysts initiating coverage", in this case SeeThru Equity, whose Website I admit I have not even checked out yet...I only raise the possibility because, like many of you, I saw the same activity with MNAP, which I owned for a while, and NORX which I did not own. Both these stocks hit new heights only to tumble wildly back to a few dimes or less. So my question is this; Is the recent run up driven by the private placement and prospects for increased reserves and production or is it just a vehicle for some easy manipulation and should we be ready to get out at some crazy price? I hold a lot of shares and I would make a nice profit if I can ride the stock higher, even if it is a case of manipulation. Any
I think management is doing best so they can have their salaries.
They have 0.5 M cash. Not even for salaries. However they got 3.5 M
from a bank loan. They will get their salaries and some production from
4 wells going.
The main question is Dej owe 7 M as debt. Income is not enough to make any dent.
Now comes in Singapore 27 M. What will they get in return is not at all clear to we people.
No body gives 27 M unless they are sure to get much more.
That is the uncertainty. Can some one solve this.
There is lot of trading but not much increase in price of stock.
Once 27 M comes in the price will be close to 40 or 50 cents.
Insiders will know when 27 M deal is for sure. Since the price is
not moving that much there is no surety that 27 M is coming.
Let us hope tomorrow we get 27 M and all be happy.
Reply to your question: "So my question is this; Is the recent run up driven by the private placement and prospects for increased reserves and production or is it just a vehicle for some easy manipulation and should we be ready to get out at some crazy price?" Answer IMHO: rising due to increased reserves and production, interest from other parties in KOKO and WR, oversold and just recovering, and a few leaks. All of this combined with coverage from SeeThru that speculates the above points. I don't believe this is manipulation at these volumes with rising prices from all time lows. At this point I see it as recovery with a new set of investors that are feeling confident with the upward trend of the economy combined with a company that is just climbing out of the valley. GH5
