Has anyone noticed that $42m went on Life's Q2 cash flow Q10 under "Business Combinations".
If you read a little further, Life state that "The Company (Life) completed acquisitions that were not considered individually or collectively material to the overall consolidated financial statements and the results of the Company’s operations" or basically, they bought $42m worth of company stock as part of an acquisition but are not saying anything about it, yet.
Does it not seems coincidental that GNOM sold company held stock to a yet to be confirmed buyer at the end of May for between $2.50 and $3, or about $42m?
Life had no mergers on their balance sheet in Q1 2012 and they did not purchase Pinpoint Genomics until July, so no need for it on be on the Q2 balance sheet . . .
A Monday morning announcement would really jazz this conference. Strange, if LIFE and CG are both there this week, why did LIFE meet with Jefferies last week? Why not wait to meet until this week? Hmm...
