It's routine after a decision to say that you are
"considering" an appeal for a while. If you are too quick to
say you are happy with the verdict, the other party
might think they could do better. NGI might consider an
appeal themselves if they get the message from MGAM that
the verdict is a gift.
Will MGAM appeal? I'm sure the reason that they
put that in the news release was for full disclosure.
Don't want any further lawsuits, do we! My feeling is
that it will depend on whether both parties can come
to an agreement on some sort of payment schedule.
Doesn't look like MGAM has 3 million or so to fork over
here folks, and does NGQ, who has no money and will
likely only get about a third of the final amount, want
to wait out the appeal process? If cooler heads
prevail, they will settle this award, and both companies
can go on their own way. JMHO

Why in God's name would MGAM appeal? They have
spent more that the settlement on legal fees and just
apparently have done, would only be
throwing good money after bad.
