Revenue was up y-o-y, what are you referring to exactly? and part of the plant was down through beginning of march. Net income was up 15% year over year. i think you must be referring to a different company.
I can't figure it out. Everyone stays so strong on RNF even with rising nat gas prices, and haven't jumped on UAN with decreasing pet coke (production expense) prices. I wonder how many thinks all fert. including UAN is using nat gas and therefore think this company is the same as the rest? I have heard a few of those comments before
Sometimes it takes awhile for the good news to spread. Early last year KKD was trading at $6 and they started having great quarterly reports. Stock price stayed in the $6 range for months even though they continued to have another great quarter and it was obvious KKD was improving. I traded out of it and took a small profit since I got tired of holding it. KKD went on to rise to $10 by EOY 2012 and rose to $14 in March 2013. I have patience with UAN.
It looks like they intend to keep the price down for most of the day. Looking for dividend players to capitulate. It backfires, however, because once they drop the price it becomes more likely that a speculator will hold for the div rather than sell.
But even still, the sharks ARE picking up shares.
i agree...i have traded mlp's and other higher yielding stocks on the "runup" to the divy.... uan however is not one of them...better Q's lie ahead for them...so i plan on holding for distribution and future distributions
