So BXC sold the Newark facility. This is just another step in the process of them exiting the west altogether. Shut down Sacramento & Seattle already. Previously vacated other western markets. Still losing money. Hard to justify staying open.
So where do they draw the line on the retreat? Nothing west of El Paso? Lubbock?
It is a nice chunk of property in the ever expanding Silicone Valley. I am sure it will go to a good home. It was worth much more than it was producing.
The question is what will the new facility be like and what product lines will they carry (and eliminate).
So they could meet payroll this month
I guess if you can't sell the wood, sell the building with the wood in it!
