participation game at redrock....only 4 machines and had a waiting line of 4-6 people minimum. It is a participation machine with a jump in the jackpot to over $900K-- looks like a hit to me...graphics were amazing.
Apparently the casinos would like a waiting line on these sensory machines, rather than have empty machines. The oz,monopoly and gold fish (bluebird) machines must be very costly for production. I think they will pay for themselves though. They seem to be the hit of the party.
08 expected revs of high side 615 would yield .86 cents at the same progit margin as this quarter. That gives the current price a real high PE. Don't expect much short term positive move if anything on Tuesday. I'm actually hoping it is not a free fall.
Stagnant sales in NA after all the new casinos coming on line really surprised me.
As we mentioned before, the key to short term price was raising their guidance, which they did not. Also, next quarters guidance is a little lighter than expected. They again basically said they will raise their guidance when the Florida, Illinois, or Calfornia expansions go through. Although, the longer these states wait the more likely their expansion gets pushed into fiscal 09 numbers.
They also said that they will most likely raise guidance if the new releases (Wizard of Oz and Press Your Luck) continue the impressive play of their gaming ops machines. These two were just placed last month, so they were not comfortable raising their numbers just yet.
All in all a very solid quarter and the long term prospects look nice. I have to agree that any short term pull back would be a nice buying oppurtunity.
