All models of the 10/22 have a 10 round rotary mag. There also is a 25 round mag. This basic design hasn't changed since the 10/22 was first introduced. I have a number of the 10 and 25 round mags for use in my 10/22's.
"I am not going to get in a debate with you about the assault weapon ban and which weapons qualify or not. Don't ask me...calll the ATF or Ruger."
sillyfox - I was just asking a question. It's a discussion group/message board.....that's what we do here. If you don't know just say you don't know, no need to get defensive. I'm sure there are a lot of us who don't know, but one poster said the 10/22 was a part of the previous ban and I don't see why, so was asking for clarification. Unfortunately, that poster apparently disappeared after his/her post.
Do you even bother to research anything before spewing your nonsense?
That rifle only has a capacity of 10 and would not fall under Dianne Feinstein's so called "assault weapon" ban. Her ban is only serving to make ARs jump off the shelves and it will continue to do so until if or when her bill gets passed. If her bill gets passed they will just switch to models like the 10/22 Takedown and probably sell more of them than they would have because of the paranoia the bill will cause.
