If its true no not nice but lets just pretend it is true, what percenage of those killings were comited by gang members on gang members, what percentage was other criminals on criminals and what precentage was on criminals on innocent people, I bet if you took a few moments and dug a litte deeper you would find that the problem is not guns but the goverments inability to enforce its own laws that are already on the books, there by negating the need for new laws since they can't even properly enforce ones already exiisting. Now back to you room and turn off your computer little one.

Not saying it couldn't be true, especially if you are including accidental killings of innocent people by the police on the job, and suicides. We have 3,110,000 people and a lot of criminals here in the USA (and lots of recidivism when they are released by a bad judicial system) and they're not gonna go away because of some AWB or stricter background checks. It is in the areas with strict gun control and no concealed carry permits like DC and Chicago and NY that we have the most gun violence and gun murders.
