Gun sales are relatively elastic. If price get too high, some potential purchasers will do without. It is possible that a decline in sales would exceed any additional revenue from higher prices. I'm sure Ruger has had its economists/marketing department study this, concluding that the demand is strong enough to keep prices at current levels and just increase production to meet that demand.
